argh - typepad ate my post! here we go again...
this is the wedding shawl for monica's wedding - our dresses are chocolate brown. the yummy yarns are from the boys at threadbear. I have about twice this done now - i'm knitting (garter stitch) lengthwise about 70", leaving the ends of the yarn as fringe.

i'm making good progress on the baby sweater - I finished both sleeves and i'm about to rejoin the body
(pattern and yarn again from threadbear)
aren't these the cutest buttons???

Ilove both the shawl and baby sweater. Do you have a pattern for the shawl...or just knitting along? What is the name of the baby sweater pattern? Fun!

the cardigan pattern is shown in entry http://knittykitty.blogs.com/kk/2004/06/im_a_hypocrite.html (still at the very bottom of the page right now)
for the shawl, i just calculated the length i needed, i knit a row, tie on the new yarn and cut the old, knit back, repeat. i left about 10" of fringe on the ends and i'll even it up later.

the buttons were from my LYS - Accents on Knits in Morristown NJ. aren't they cute!!!
