i'm going to miss it. i didn't go every day, but when i did, there were lots of cool things on the glitter discussion boards, and people were always quick to respond and help you out.
i had a specific question and ended up posting on craftster.org, but that site -with the layout and color - is not a good one to surf while at work. (where my IE window is only an inch tall on the bottom of my screen.)
darn.
Have you had a chance to explore www.supernaturale.com yet? I haven't looked around much yet, but it looks like most of the getcrafty content (including, most importantly a spiffed up version of the Glitter boards) now resides there. Here's hoping it's as loverly as getcrafty always was!

There's also http://www.hiphomec.com/forums
In a nutshell, Jean Railla started getcrafty in 1997 as a zine. In 1999, she launched http://www.getcrafty.com. Soon after, she partnered with FLAT (http://www.flat.com), who redesigned getcrafty and added the Glitter boards. In 2002, Jean left the day-to-day editing to work on a book, "Get Crafty: Hip Home Ec," whose discussion boards are at http://www.hiphomec.com/forums. Two weeks ago, FLAT shut down getcrafty and moved Glitter to their own site, http://www.supernaturale.com
