I may be in the minority here... But, I actually like the idea of this magazine coming out. I'm hoping that it will encourage more knitters to think "outside the box". Too many people take what is a written pattern and call that fact and it ends there. If nothing else, aspects of these patterns could be applied and merged to make something to suit anyone's taste -- if you want to snazz up a plain sweater using crazy detail, this would be the place to look for inspiration and stitch patterns.

i think they could have taken that idea and made an AWESOME magazine! but i don't think they acheived that. it's supposed to be more out-of-the-box high fashion, but the patterns are throwbacks from the 80s....

anyway - that's just my opinion. just don't make me anything out of there for christmas! ;o)

I want to thank all of the people who came to my shop on Saturday for the yarn crawl. You were a great bunch of customers and lovely people besides. If you choose to do this again I hope you will come to visit us. Next time I will also give 10% to your members. Thanks for all of your sales.
